My wife has a serious Marmite jones (5 years in Amsterdam, hanging with bad-apple vegetarians and penniless street musicians took its toll on her...). I believe Marmite is a European version of Vegemite. Complete B-complex, great for whatever ails, uh, Europeans, I guess. She claims it can grow hair on a billiard ball. In Holland it was introduced to the bloodstream via sandwich, teaspoons-full put in tea and sauces, and most likely mainlined by the hardened few. Open jars are *not* allowed in the Vanagon. A Marmite (Vegemite) spill is not a pretty thought. A parting question: the AOL browser spellchecker prompts me to replace "Vanagon" with "Vernon." What do other spellcheckers suggest in place of the admittedly awkward "Vanagon" monikor? Michael 87 GL (oh, all right, "Vernon")
