I have converted a 67 US spec Bug to RHD, very easy job,  but I used a
smooth fiberglass dash cover with no speedo, The dash would be a job...
Most cars in Aust that are brought over from the states cost approx
1 to 2k (aust$), you know , there are many nice Vanagons (Caravelles)
down under that might save ya a bundle, but that might be like selling
one of your kids, I know the feeling...
