Subject:Dometic combustion chamber cleaning

With all this talk about refrigerators lately it gave me the incentive to
remove mine for cleaning and fan replacement. The fridge came out in less
then an hour, a very easy process thanks to information provided by this
list. I'll soon find out how easy or difficult it is to reinstall the
fridge.

My question is how do I clean the combustion chamber? I have not yet
opened the combustion chamber, it looks like six screws hold it together.
Is opening it as simple as removing these six screws? Can I reuse the red
rubber gasket? From the outside this gasket looks very good. Once open do
I just blow out the chamber with shop air, or is it more complicated? Are
there any symptoms I should look for in the combustion chamber once I have
it open?

Thanks in advance for any input.
