I just bought a 1984 Westfalia, used my first tank of gasoline, and was
reasonably pleased to find that I obtained 19.7 miles/gallon in my first
175 miles of driving.  This was mostly highway driving (60-70 mph) with
the airconditioning on.

Is this typical for a 1980s watercooled Westy?
What mileage do you other Westy owners achieve?
