Can someone give me an idea of what symptoms a clogged catalytic converter might exhibit?  My '82 Westy has been acting hinkey for a while.  First, running fine cold, but when it got hot, seeming to flood out.  Replaced the temp sensor, plugs, points, condenser, and checked all FI systems including spray patterns of injectors.  Nothing seemed to help.  Now, it wont stay running at all.

I searched the archives, but nothing specific seems to jump out at me except a loss of power when engine is hot.  Is it worth me trying to pry the damn thing off to see if it runs without it?
