Look at Bentley page 07.215, track 132.  You can get easy access to the X
("load reduction" circuit at pin 2 of the empty relay socket #7 -- just
stick a regular spade terminal into that pin of the socket.

If you have trouble finding pin 2, it's the only one in that socket that
goes live when you turn the key ON.  It will turn off during cranking, and
it will not put any additional load on the ignition switch.  Put a ten amp
fuse in line and label the wire.
