Hi to the List,

I am Zoltan, who used to be an active member on this great List.  Now, living in Hungary for the last two years and not really into the vans anymore having sold all my stuff back in the US.  

Just got a phone call from my young son who inherited my air-cooled van, telling me he is having some electrical problems, like not getting a spark.  Could not help him through the phone as I don’t remember things about the van much anymore, and I was not ever a great champon in the electrical department too.

I told him to contact the Great Vanagon List members to ask difficult questions.  All of you together are a great asset to the World of Vanagons and the most valuable help on this planet.  

So, I ask you all to be kind enough to help him in his Vanagon troubles.  He is a most wonderful old fashion classical boy with mechanical skills but no experience.  Anyone would be honored to know him and it’s a pleasure to be around with.  

I hope, he would be a useful member in time.  

The van is a 1982 full camper with 2 liter air-cooled engine, all stock.  I beautiful condition.
