Hi all. I searched by subject in archives but no hits. My propane tank is 10 years old. The shut off valve gets opened, closed a few or several times a year. Amount of propane in tank may be quite low. I highly doubt this is the case but.... If the propane level is quite low, would that affect the main shut off valve operation? I don't know the construction of the valve but an internet search led me to this image of a cut open RV propane tank.
