Hi listers,

        I read the recent crank handle thread with interest.  Recently while doing sound improvement work on my doors I removed the cranks and now the round tab that goes in the center won't stay.  Also, the knobs on the cranks seem very week and not likely to last long.   My cranks are metal covered by plastic.  Are there stronger replacements out there?  If so which vender and style?  I also noticed I'm missing the plastic spacer on my passenger side crank, any idea where to get such a part?  I suspect the new cranks might not come with it.

I'm not so much worried about color as long as they match.  My interior is the hard to find brown!

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.
