Hi All, Thanks to all who replied with suggestions, to my plea for help with my previous post: "Vanagon is jerky, clutch maybe?". After cleaning the ground wires, still jerky. Checking the motor mounts, they're OK. Trying to find the throttle valve switch connector as shown in Bentley manual unsuccessfully (Page 24.35), finally gave up, (where in the dickens is that connector anyway?). After wiggling wires here and there I quit. Decided to take it for a final spin before committing the van to a repair shop ($$$), and low and behold, the van ran like new. No jerkiness, whatsoever, going up a hill or going down, no clutch slip at all, no hesitation. My problem is, I don't remember which wire I jiggled to close that bad connection. By the way, what is a good contact cleaner? Anyway, thanks again for trying to help. Where would we be without this list! Alfred 85 Vanagon
