Now I feel very silly.... Took a look at Bus Depot catalog and found this part without much searching. Sorry. I hope this gets to everyone before someone makes great pains to find me the part number. Then I did an archive search and there was a post back in 1998 about this part. The upshot was that the voltage stabilizer should be replaceable with any matching 10 volt part. My local shop also confirmed he only wanted the voltage stabilizer, not necessarily the entire cluster. It would be good to get the OEM part though. Could someone with ETKA please search and see if there is a VW part number for the voltage stabilizer? Any ideas about replacing this part are welcome. I want to have a working coolant temp gauge soonest so I don't endanger my new wasserboxer. Thanks, Anthony'89 Syncro GL (Hidalgo)
