Subject:resolved, was: oil pressure warning system anomaly?

The odd oil pressure led behavior became normal after I replaced the
small circuit board for the dynamic oil pressure warning system.
Referred to as the L-board because of it's shape, it lives inside the
speedo on 86-91 Vanagons (as well as many other VWs of similar vintage.)
