I've got a Shady Boy Awning and have only experienced it in wind at night once. The fiberglass poles were dry and where they fit into the Aluminum holes in base the wind caused a very annoying squeak while we were trying to sleep inside the cozy cabin. During the very next night it was raining so no creak/squeak was heard so I can only deduce that it needs to be damped by means of a lubricant or teflon tape maybe?! Has anyone solved this by perhaps lubricating the pole ends? Looking to try something that won't gather too much dust of course or cause my storage bags to be covered in greasy lubricant...
