I was out looking at the 91 GL we have sitting in the "weed/snowbank" today.
I  always liked the smaller straight up pop top the 60's camper vans had. I
wonder how tough it would be to make a mockup plug from the type of foam my
aircraft building friends have and make a mold for a longer rectangular pop
top cover? we don't use the upstairs beds in our other Westy anymore, and it
might make it possible to convert more of the standard Vanagons to part time
campers?  when I mention project, I mean more than one person working
towards the same goal as a group where each member takes part in the
whole...Just an Idea
