Should the little ring (collar? Sleeve?) around the motor shaft turn
with the shaft, or does shaft turn on it?

My eye's just aren't that good to see if there is a bearing around
this collar. (inside the motor housing)

Fan was a little squeeky when turned by hand, so I pressed off the
blade unit to better get at bearing to lube it.

(dig the white trash fan press)
