Hi all. In light of recent electrical work, I'm currently saying "ohm" to calm my soul after frustrations from some re-volting results. Even so, I-amp-what-I-amp and in response to another Vanagon list thread, I had the altered phrase of : ".... healthiest way to lead an unhealthy lifestyle" to: (tongue in cheek) "Healthiest way to lead an UnHealthy Vanagon lifestyle" Which of course led to to: What unhealthy things have I done for my Vanagon? I've hurt: my back, my knuckles, my arms, my knees, my liver and brain, my neighbours ears, (including dogs within 4 km radius), my bank account, and more over, have had my heart broken by my Westys' needy-needy-needs, only to have it drop me like used Skoda at a Saturday Night JunkYard Dance. I've confused FLAPS people, tortured local VW parts dept. with price/availability phone calls about obscure parts that I probably won't order, had many conversations with myself that confuse me and scare others' within earshot, have spent hours losing more of my eyesight learning how to make fetid videos, and above all fear that I've almost abused the priviledge that is this list and its' kind helpful people. If I had a SO, I'm sure she would be long gone, into the arms of a Toyota/Honda driving man, with squeeky-clean-cuticles/nails, pristine knuckles, and no automotive-anger-issues. So what's the "unhealthiest" thing(s) you've done, as regards your Vanagon, to keep it running, get it running, come to peace with it, make amends with it, or just "Keep The Love Alive"? Tongue firmly implanted, not complaining or whining. It's Phrydey. Neil. -- Neil Nicholson. 1981 Air Cooled Westfalia. http://web.mac.com/tubaneil
