Hi All,

My inlaws have a 7 year old Subaru Forester with a 2.5L engine.
It is out of warranty.  It has around 100,000 km (60,000 mi) on
it, and has "severe" head gasket leakage.  (I haven't looked
myself yet, so I don't know what "severe" means.)

Does anyone know if there is precendent for goodwill repairs
of this type of damage on Subarus? (i.e. paid for by Subaru)
Can anyone suggest a source of information on the internet?
