My radio quit functioning when my passenger was fiddling with the dash light (84 Westy) just above the glove box.
There was a bright flash, pop, and now the radio doesn't work.  I've checked all the fuses I can find under (left) the driver side dash and they are all fine.  Is there a line fuse somewhere buried in the spaghetti wiring in the dash?

I'd like to put a better receiver in, and am told that doing so is a bear of a job.  Suggestions?
