These people couldn't care less about others. They see all the OTHER oncoming foglights and see their glare, so know full well that they are doing the same thing. Which nust shows what sort of people they are! >-- is to increase the amount of light projected in front of the >vehicle). There is no excuse for this. Indeed. But such low-mounted lights are of very limited use, as they cast "solid" shadows from even the smallest irregularities in the road surface. Some of these dorks use their fogs INSTEAD of headlights... really intelligent... others (the majority of offenders) run them in addition to the headlights. Many are also running drivinglights illegally 24 hours, wired so that they work with low beam (illegal, and I don't know how these vehicles pass their 6-monthly warrant-of-fitness checks); these are mostly pseudooffroaders like Mitsubishi RVRs, Rav4s and CRVs, fitted with big yellow light pods. -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut HUMANITY: THE ULTIMATE VON NEUMANN MACHINE DEMOCRACY: RULE BY THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR
