I've read the posts about Marvel Mystery oil in the crankcase to clean the engine before an oil change. I've heard that some people used to use kerosene to do the same thing. Kerosene is listed as an ingredient in some fuel and oil treatment additives as well. Does anyone here add kerosene before an oil change to clean it out?
