Well yeah, the spark that ignited the wire coating came from somewhere
didnt it? I looked at my 2 dometics, and found cracks on both wires at the
90 degree bend where it goes into the burner. I sacrificed myself and held
the wire at the 90 degree bend while I plunged the striker , and I did get
shocked-once only-as I quit this foolishness at this point.I slipped heat
shrink tubing over this area and heated it. Looks ok. Some one wanna test
it for me?
