I know that the two dash vents on Mellow Yellow, my 84 Vanagon, just
bring in outside air. No fan, no heating, just fresh air. But my
goodness, the amount of air that comes in when the lever is in the
down/open position is puny. Even at 60 mph. Before I start poking
around, looking to see if something like a sheep has gotten stuck in the
inlet, is there a Known Problem with these things?
