My parents are back in town...  This is good on a few
levels:

1) I like them, and i like spending time with them
2) They have just returned from a 1 month road trip,
so there were stories to tell
3) That 1 month road trip was in my westy

This last month is the longest i have spent without my
van.  I feel like a freakin crack addict getting his
fix... i was almost having withdrawel symptoms (don't
i feel like a geek).  It is so nice to have it back in
my hands so i can pretend to start all those little
projects that have been in my head filling the void of
van's parking spot.
The good news is, it was a completely trouble-free
trip for my parents.  6,000 miles in 28 days ain't too
shabby (Vancouver BC to various parts of Arizona, with
lots of side trips in between).  Apparently, the hot
tip is to stay out of New Mexico...  The Boston Bob
engine ran great, and my parents loved every minute of
it (except NM).
