Hi,

I'm new to the list and tried searching through the archives to find an
answer and had no luck. I have a 1980 Westfalia. It has no AC. When I bought
the van there was a knob missing just below the temperature control panel.
It is centered right below it. Since I have no AC I can't figure out what
this missing knob is for. I searched all over for replacement parts and
found no luck. I don't even no what this missing piece controls. I've tried
turning the dial with the vehicle on and adjusted the temperatures and
everything else and I couldn't get any response. I hope someone out there
has a van similar to mine and knows what this missing knob is and what it
contorls. Any help is much appreciated.
