Anyone? The archives presented a wonderful informational article about pulling the tranny to replace a bad pilot bearing. Turns out when I pulled my tranny, the clutch itself was the cause of the problems I was having.as it fell apart as I removed it from the vehicle.as a side note, I am still having to adjust the linkage a bit, but man, what a difference. In any case.at one point in time during my reinstall of the tranny, it leaned hard to the left (driver side) and forward (front of vehicle) off of the jack.and as it did, fluid started leaking out of one of the bolts. My assumption was that this is not a high pressure system and that since the bolt is at the TOP of the tranny normally that fluid doesn't even go there (gravity) and that its not a hard and fast seal. It doesn't appear to be leaking after a reinstall (and about 100 miles of driving).just wanted to make sure this seemed normal. Dave 85 "baby bus"
