What's more likely to happen is you will be required to get three
repair estimates over which they will hum and haw then pull out "the
book" and write the van off giving you "book" value.  Start doing your
research now as to"street" value and not only in your town. These are
"collector' vehicles worth far more than "book value".  Fight for your
rights. Their guy caused the damage not you.
