Graham, beautiful rainbow trout stocked mtn. lake at 9K feet above sea level, at the end of a *long* dirt road.. (30 miles or so *up* the mountain) http://tinyurl.com/2mm3m Very cool area to take the kids in the van, lots of usfs logging/fire roads to play on, no climbing, but cool hikes, rides and views up there. Amazing scenery and steepness to the s. side of the mountain. Looks to be some nice rock up there now exposed by the fires from a few years back (we hadn't been down there since 1997 prior to our Wyoming trip) If you're a fly fisherman, you could have a great time We, could see the trout hanging out at the edge of the water near the grasses. cheers, -tim http://timschneider.org Obj. backgrounder =============== Home of the infamous Mt Graham Red Squirrel http://ag.arizona.edu/research/redsquirrel/history.html http://medusa.as.arizona.edu/graham/envir.html http://www.mountgraham.org/white/white/demographystudynr062501.pdf Anyone looking for a summer job?
