Hi Karl, It will be dimmer or brighter based on how hot the pilot is burning. On 12V, it is just on. When I would start my fridge on a cold day, I'd get a bright light, then it would start to dim, which was my cue to pump the air pump a bit to keep it from going out. It was always dimmer on propane than on 12V. tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com Volks Cafe 1823 Soquel Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 831-426-1244 http://www.volkscafe.com > From: "Westyman" <THEWESTYMAN@MINDSPRING.COM> > Date: Mon, 6 Jan 2003 00:00:16 -0800 > To: "Vanagon list" <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM>, "Syncro list" > <syncro@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [Syncro] Fridge burner indicator light bright, then dim? > > I just installed one of the new blue LEDs in my kitchen display and notice > now, more so that before, that the light is like three times as bright when > the fridge is on 12V or when the cooling fan is operating, as when it is on > propane function.
