I've been enjoying the list and the articles submitted. I've
especially thought it a "hoot" to read the thread concerning the
placement of the battery. Who ever would have thought that such a
subject would evoke the responses made?

My question is not related to the mechanics of my vanagon, however. I
would like to know if anyone has information, or can direct me to the
proper spot, on Vanagon meets in the Blue Ridge mountain area. I know
there was a recent meet near Boone, NC.  But my scouring of the web
hasn't turned up any information on this at all. The only thing I
found was for 1998. . .  a little out of date.

Any help would be appreciated.
