My recollection is that vanagon syncro westies in the late 80's in Honolulu (which granted is more expensive than the mainland) were around $30K. I think I paid about $17,500 or $18,000 for my 88 Wolfie GL (not a westy). Does that sound about right? Like maybe $3K or so more than the mainland prices at that time? mick 89 syncro westy hilo, hawaii ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Mayfield <paulmayfield@EARTHLINK.NET> To: > Sent: Saturday, March 09, 2002 5:59 PM Subject: Re: Eurovan -- ad nauseum-- > What's all this wimpering and whining about eurovan prices? > If you like the Eurovan and have the money, buy it and be happy. > > "Are Vanagon owners cheap sons of b*tches, or what?" > (insert Gilbert Godfrey voice above) > > When I bought my 87 westy syncro used in 88 (w/only7Kmiles), > I paid $17K.
