My Van has been making a whirring/humming noise from the back for a few
weeks. I finally crawled underneath tonight and I believe it is coming from
the fuel pump. I have 87,300 miles on the van with a recent fuel filter
change, is this about average for fuel pump life span? Does it normally make
noise before it quits? This is my daily driver so I don't want to get
stranded and wait a week for a part.
