1.8 liter gas engine i put in my 88 vanagon using a diesel flywheel and
pressure plate.I need to get timing right and clear the obd and also how hot
does these engines get at the hoses?How am i suppose to time this  engine if
the timing mark is on the flywheel on the cabriolet engine and the timing
marks for the diesel was on the pressure plate? and  they  was not the same
? or  are they? any help?
