Hi all,

Have a 82 aircooled westy. Do not have ownera manual.  I was told by the
prevoius owner that it is equip with a gas heater, but I have no Idea
how to operate it.  I was told that the green dash mounted switch below
the hvac controls turns it on.  When I turn it on nothing happens until
I move the second from top hvac lever to the right. At that point i hear
a loud vibrating noise like a fan spinning or some kind of motor
operating.  Any advise on the gas heater operation would be greatly
appreciated since i am planning a little winter trip in my summer
vehicle.
