I went to roll my power window down and was met with a loud clunk. After
opening the door panel, it appears that part of the black plastic
housing broke that is near the track at the rear of the driver's door. I
can still see the cable that threads through it.

Can you get parts for just this piece? Or do I have to replace the whole
motor assembly?
Is this a common failure, or is there something I can do to prevent the
other power window assembly from breaking in a similar manner.
