Hello friends, I seem to have a weird problem with my electrical system: every once in a while I find myself driving without headlights at night (even though the headlight switch is turned on). I think this doesn't happen in the middle of a drive, but rather after starting the van. I've noticed that the electric windows don't work either, as well as other circuits I can't recall right now. Also, pulling the headlight lever turns on the high beams, but releasing it turns them off immediately (just like when the ignition is turned off). I checked for a blown fuse but found non. Then, I started juggling the fuses and relays on the fuse box and somehow the light turned back on. I actually think I had to turn the ignition switch off to reset the problem. I tried tracing the electrical diagrams but didn't seem to find a common source for these problems (fuse/relay/switch). Before I waste more time on this, can someone point me in the right direction? I've got a gut feeling it's one of the the ignition switch contacts (but why then did the motor keep running? maybe it's because the ignition switch is comprised of three different circuits), but since it's a rarely repeating problem I'll have to wait for another occurence... Thanks, Amnon (## p.s: when replying, please also send me a copy directly because sometimes I miss the responses on this high volume list). ______________________________________________ FREE Personalized Email at Mail.com Sign up at http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup
