Pertaining to my '87 Westfalia: Whilst driving through downtown San Francisco today, my coolant light began flashing and stayed flashing until I reached my destination. Driving was stop and go, ambient temp was maybe in the 70s - 80s, my fan cycled on and off as usual, and my temp needle never went above its usual, maximum "just above the LED" position. Everything was normal, except for the LED flashing. No signs of coolant coming out anywhere or any steam. Upon my return trip home, the coolant LED stayed off. The coolant level in my overflow tank is just below the lower mark, so I may simply need to add coolant. I guess I'm just asking if the blinking LED is a low coolant reminder in addition to being a high temperature indicator. Or does this circuit sometimes act up? Thanking you in advance... Dan
