Symptons:

1. Will shift into 1st and 2nd (or at least it acts like it shifts), but no go.
2. Reverse, 3rd and 4th work fine.
3. No strange noises, vibrations, or html emails other than when it happened.
4. Wife as always had problems getting it into 1st and 2nd.

This occured when starting from a light, heard a loud grind and it poped out of first.
