Hi listers,

        I am replacing my original speakers in my 84. 

The original grills are there.  I have removed the rear ones and installed new speakers mounted from inside the cabinet out.  The new speakers did not come with grills.  I have some reproductions coming from uniwerks, but wanted to know.  Is there any reasonable way to remove the original speaker from the grill?  Or is this one unit that will not come apart?

If I could get off the flat front, or even leave some of the ring, I could reuse the original grill in the back. 

Anyone ever successfully do this?
