Hi folks,
I just changed the rear shocks on my 84. My local mechanic said my old ones were failing. He was correct. They had little resistance when I moved them by hand. They actually seemed to push themselves open. I don’t think that is normal shock behavior.
So new ones are installed.
This was a fun job as it is fairly straight forward.
I'm thinking about now doing the front, but remember that being potentially more complicated with the shock in the spring.
But, essentially isn’t it the same process as the rear?
