Went to start my Vanagon yesterday and the ignition key would not turn in the switch. I did have the switch replaced recently but the key has worked a couple dozen times since. It has seemed harder to insert the key than with the previous switch. Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it? I do have a spare ignition switch but no key to fit it.
