Hi folks,
So,
I needed to charge my battery on the 84 after leaving a device plugged in for an extended time and draining it low.
I have a app on my iPhone for for blind folks.
I took a picture of the clamp and asked for the color. It was red. Ok good to go on set up.
Then I took a picture of the charger.
It identified the charger and told me I could do 2 Amp or 10 amp
12 V or 6.
I set it up.
I took aa picture of the gauge. The AI told me the needle was pointing below the 6 and the numbers went 12 to 0. It said 0 was in the top red charged area.
Later I took a picture of the gauge and it said the battery was charged.
I asked the AI where the needle was pointing and it said to the 10.
I asked it if it was pointing to the ten or the Zero.
The AI replied “I’m sorry for the confusion it is pointing to the zero.
This AI stuff is wild.
I hope it can soon analyze all our past posts and manuals and diagrams and answer my future vanagon questions!
Don’t get me wrong. There will still be an important place for this list and human contact. But fast info during a project is awesome!
