I removed my dash for some major body work. So of course all the cables for heater/ventilation are nicely exposed. Mine have never been lubricated; I think now is a good time. Any tips on what to do or what not to do? I am thinking to insert the red tube on a can of spray silicone into sheath end, wrap with some tape for cleanliness purposes, and give it a couple shots. I will lubricate pivot points of controls with a drop or two of oil. I also plan to replace foam pads on doors with either felt or neoprene foam. Wondering if anybody has experience in this?
