In the D pillar the 50 amp AC Fuse blew. Went to install a new one only to
discover the original overheated before it blew and melted the
rubber/plastic that holds the brass screw holder which in turn holds the
fuse in place. It is PART# 251937501B and is NLA.- It's been discontinued.
Would anyone have one of these or know where I might find one?

Royal Volkswagon  here in Birmingham, a dealership, was a huge help in
tracking down this part number and finding a parts blow-up of this
and sending me a copy.
