This sounds good Dennis. Yeah the belt drive is the weak link as you know, poor wrap etc
And thin
I’m really interested in this , just wondering how to get max of 200 amps at nominal 13.4 or so volts power thru the existing belt set up.
At 14 volts that 2800 watts power.
Dint get me wrong, I’m just keen and interested

With a harness adapter it works correctly with the VW warning light system both camper or not. This style alternator is available in outputs pushing 200 A/H. I believe I also have a belt upgrade and pulley choice that will still provide some reason able life driving this beast.
