I'm outfitting my '90 GL automatic for a 2 month road trip this summer with my wife, from Virginia to the San Juan Islands and back.  We're tired of the ice/water drill with a standard cooler so we're looking at the offerings in the small(ish) 12v DC/AC options.  At $500 the Dometic CC32 looks like the head of the class.

Has anyone had experience with any of the other offerings such as CAMCO 300 or the equivalent size ICECO, or any of the other small 12V offerings that they would recommend?  We don't need an icemaker, just want to keep some essentials cold when necessary.

Suggestions appreciated.
