So, the Spectrum gas tank arrived.  It seems solid and undamaged. Packing was minimum so I’m pleased it seems fine. 

I’m wondering if folks think it is important to prep the exterior in any way?  Undercoat, paint, wax? Or, does it matter as the interior will fail before the exterior?

How to pressure test? 

I’m still waiting on the soft parts that are needed to complete the refresh so won’t be doing the change until I have everything.

Tips on tank prep appreciated.
