So, based on the ‘TomsGuide’ suggested below I set up a Flickr account.  About a half hour later I’m ready to delete that and start over.  I don’t need gigabytes of space, I don’t need or want a fantastic site with scores of features and options, I don’t want to spend a week in front of a screen to learn all the wonderful features.  I want a place to upload an occasional photo and then post a pointer so others can see it.  Does anyone offer that?
(Leery of Google and others moves toward world domination by owning everyone’s files in their ‘cloud’ or whatever.)
