Question 1: Go to Bustopia.com Gives a full outline. BTW: any decent auto paint supplier should be able to help in this effort. Modern paint suppliers can provide a spray can or two for touch up work; they have some gizmo that can figure all of this stuff out. Including faded colors. Device looks at your actual paint. Not certain, but I believe original paint codes were on Driver Side door jamb sticker. Previously for touchup, I used PaintScratch.com Was OK. Took a couple tries to get it right. Next time, I will go with the more modern method.
Question 2: Our best friend BenT Syncro is one of the list administrators on FB Vanagon Owners Group. He is a very busy man, and there have been some issues. Try again. Most likely, he will recognize your name, and immediately give access. This is a wonderful resource! When I first joined, only 9.5 K members; now, something like 13.8 K members. Tons of tricks, fixes, resources, ideas. Great photos! Make Firefox your browser, and associated AdBlockerPlus (all free) to eliminate any undesired junk.
