Hi Dave - I am late to the party - but I would disagree that Canadians
dislike the metric system.  I think we live with it and are used to it now
and take what is good from it and also take what we know and like from
imperial and kind of mash them together depending on what unit of
measurement is the best to communicate with.

Something I think Canadians dislike more - is having to pay for air at the
gas station.
