Was watching some fun videos about electric conversions of a 356 and a
split-window
bus <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omOUc75r39g&t=123s> by the wizards at
EV West and thought about what it would take to get a bolt-in kit
<https://www.evwest.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=226> to make
an electric Vanagon. I wrote to their sales department inquiring whether a
Vanagon kit might be on the horizon and they said no, unsurprisingly.

However, they said a number of customers have purchased their universal kit
for Vanagons(!). Anyone on the list one of these folks? If so, can you
speak to your experience?
